Children & Youth Ministries

At the Clay City UCC we don’t just see children as the future of the church, we see them as a vital part of our community. Our children bring a fresh sense of wonder and awe, disruption and creativity, love and caring into our midst — and we celebrate that. Jesus welcomed the children and blessed them. In His name we seek to do the same for the children and youths we encounter every Sunday morning.

Children’s Sunday School

The Clay City First UCC offers a Sunday School environment where our children are given the foundation of the Christian faith, from which they can continue to build upon through spiritual practices they have learned. Our Children’s Sunday School program starts every Sunday at 9:30 am.

Senior Youth Fellowship

The Senior Youth Fellowship is organized for the youth from 7th grade through 12th grade. The fellowship includes monthly group activities including lesson-oriented meetings, recreation and special church/community service projects. Periodically entertaining activities are planned for the group, such as canoeing, paintball, or other fellowship building activities. All youth are invited and encouraged to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30.

Vacation Bible School

Every year the Clay City First UCC joins other community churches to provide a Vacation Bible School to the children within our community. Please remember to check our calendar for the annual Community Vacation Bible School.
